Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GitHub Org Health Google Sheets Add-on ("the Service") provided by GitHub Org Health ("we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-on.

2. Description of Service

GitHub Org Health is a Google Sheets Editor Add-on that connects to GitHub's API to fetch and display repository health metrics including pull request age, stale branches, Dependabot alerts, and dependency license risks.

3. Requirements

• A Google account with access to Google Sheets
• A GitHub account with a Personal Access Token (PAT) with appropriate scopes
• You must have appropriate authorization to access the GitHub repositories being scanned

4. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your GitHub PAT secure
• You must comply with GitHub's Terms of Service and API usage policies
• You must have authorization to access the GitHub organization or repositories you connect
• You are responsible for any actions taken based on the dashboard data

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not collect, store, or share your source code or personal data beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Add-on and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GitHub Org Health and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of the dashboard data
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Detection of all security vulnerabilities or license issues

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GitHub Org Health be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from undetected security vulnerabilities, license compliance issues, or data inaccuracies.

9. GitHub API Dependency

The Service depends on GitHub's API availability. We are not responsible for outages, rate limiting, or changes to GitHub's API that may affect the Service's functionality.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting and uninstalling the Add-on. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
